Membership of both Shopmobility Ballymena & Shopmobility Carrickfergus is free of charge and ensures that when using our equipment, both you and our equipment is safe and covered by our insurance.

In order to become a member, you will need to complete our application form and provide proof of address as well as photographic documentation. We accept a number of forms of ID, but the following are the main ones we allow:

Ulsterbus Smart Card

Disablity 'Blue Badge'

National ID Card

Training

When signing up as a member to use an electric scooter, you will need to be trained on the equipment so you are comfortable and to ensure your, and others, safety. 

​

Training, along with initial sign-up, usually takes between 30-45 minutes. Please make sure to give yourself suitable time on your first visit, to allow for this training to take place.
